The Pasir Gudang Gallery has been located on the 1st floor of Menara Aqabah, Pasir Gudang Municipal Council. The purpose of the gallery is to provide public information on the history of the establishment, administrative area, industrial development, tourism products and infrastructure facilities in Pasir Gudang.

 

Bukit Layang-Layang

This location has become the main focus of Pasir Gudang residents for various sports and recreational activities. Situated in the midst of the Pasir Gudang industry, it is a centre for kite flyers across the globe during the Pasir Gudang International Kite Festival which is organized every year.

 

 

Muzium Layang-Layang

The only museum in this country which displays various traditional and modern kite collections both local and international. This museum which is opened in 2002 also explains the history of this traditional game of the locals.

Masjid Jamek Pasir Gudang

This mosque which has been used since 1989, created a history for winning the National Level Landscape Award for Mosque Category a few times. The combination of a Islamic workmanship and human made landscape is an important symbol in the midst of the Pasir Gudang rapid development. It is also a location for few religious organization activities such as Sambutan Maulidur Rasul as well as Majlis Perkahwinan Beramai-ramai in Pasir Gudang.

 

Chalet Terapung Selat Mendana


Who would have thought that a cage for a cage that was about to be sold for ill-treatment would now turn its face into a floating scratch.

Located in the Straits of Mendana, the Kong Kong Floating Point just off the coast of Kampung Sungai Latoh, Masai here is the latest ecotourism product in the area.

While staying overnight, visitors can enjoy the beauty and livelihoods of some traditional villages, including Teluk Sengat, Old Johor and Rinting, besides Sungai Latoh.

Kompleks Pusat Bandar Pasir Gudang

This largest complex in Pasir Gudang has become public center for getting daily necessities. It also accomodate the Pasir Gudang Municipal Council office, Tenaga Nasional Berhad, and Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara. Among other facilities available in this complex are Perpustakaan Awam Pasir Gudang, Masjid An Nur Pasir Gudang, Terminal Bas dan Hentian Teksi Pasir Gudang, Pejabat Pesuruhjaya Sumpah, shopping lots, food stalls, fast food restaurants, and beauty boutiques.

This village still preserves various stories and history of the arrival of the Acheh visitors to Tanah Melayu. The harmonious village surroundings, the greenery of the jungle, as well as the friendliness of the residents in awaiting the arrival of visitors who wish to feel the traditional criteria and Malay community culture which is still remains to this very day.

 

  

 

Kampung Tanjung Langsat

Another traditional village which is still available in Pasir Gudang. Kampung Tanjung Langsat becomes a location of choice for those who want to taste seafood delicacies. Situated at the estuary of Sungai Johor, it has also become a focus of fishermen who hunts for garuopa, or sting ray at the jetty, or by renting boats which are provided.

 

Sarang Buaya Tanjung Langsat

INTRODUCTION

The Sarang Buaya (Crocodile’s Nest) which is under the administration of Pasir Gudang Municipal Council measures a total of 8 acres in size and was built in the mangrove forest area near the Tanjung Langsat port and free trade zone. A total of 12 pools were built to accommodate the 592 estuarine crocodiles of various sizes which will be preserved and showcased to visitors within the area.

A total of 12 special pools were built in order to accommodate a total of 592 Estuarine Crocodiles which were legally authorised with special permits by PERHILITAN (Department of Wildlife and National Parks). The Estuarine Crocodiles reared will be of consists of various age and sizes. At present, a total of 144 crocodiles has been acquired and placed in 6 of the pools at the Pasir Gudang Crocodile’s Nest. Each crocodile measures from 1’6” inches up to 10 feet, aged between 1.5 years to 15 years.

The Estuarine Crocodile is an animal fully-preserved by the Department of Wildlife and National Parks ( PERHILITAN ) act 1972 act 76 (The Department of Wildlife and National Parks does not issue a license to rear and to conduct business with an exception of an approval and permission from the Ministry of Environment & Science Technology via a SPECIAL PERMIT]. Any party who possesses, keep and preserve this animal without the SPECIAL PERMIT is deemed to have commited in a violation of laws and may be imposed a compound and imprisonment.

4. A source of knowledge and information specifically related to Estuarine Crocodiles and other crocodile species which existed thoughout the world.

PUSAT MEMANCING DAN REKREASI SUNGAI LAYANG (YOYO RAKIT)

Yoyo Rakit telah beroperasi sejak hujung 2010. Mempunyai dua rakit utama. Rakit A bersaiz 60'x500' kaki persegi. boleh menampung sehingga 200 pada satu masa. mempunyai kemudahan seperti 13 buah bilik tidur dilengkapi katil queen saiz sesuai untuk keluarga kecil. kami juga ada cafe yang menyediakan makan dan minum panas dan sejuk. Air paip yang disalur terus dari darat. Mempunyai 3 tandas yang selesa. Juga ruang solat atau surau disediakan. Kini ruang tunggu dilengkapi dengan siaran astro dan wifi.
